On March 22, the second batch of 35 medical professional from Tongji returned to Shanghai. All people from Tongji showed their gratitude to them for their hard work and great contributions to the fight against COVID-19.

On January 28, Shanghai's third batch of medical teams left for Wuhan. They arrived at Wuhan Third Hospital the next day and started to work right away. As of March 19, Tongji medical teams had treated a total of 332 patients, among whom critical and severe patients were 237. The total number of patients discharged by them was 278, at a recovery rate of 83.73%. Among them 154 critical and severe patients were cured at a recovery rate of 65%. Behind the high recovery rate lied high risk. But the medical professional never gave up and tried desperately to save lives.
