On the evening of November 15, 2019, the final of the 15th "Star of Jiading" Campus Singer Competition of Tongji University was held at 101 Jiren Building, Jiading Campus. People from the Party Working Committee of Jiading Campus, Youth League Committee of the University, School of Materials Science and Engineering, and from the Youth League Committee of Anting Town participated in this activity together with over 600 teachers and students.

Close to 100 young people from 10 schools of the University took part in the competition. After the preliminary and semi-finals, 12 singers entered the final. In the exciting final competition, after each of the 12 singers sang a song in turn, they were arranged to compete in three groups. When half of the singers were eliminated, the remaining six continued to compete for the third and fourth rounds. Finally, LIU Yifan from the School of Materials Science and Engineering won the championship title, WANG Tianqi from the School of Mechanical Engineering became the runner-up, and ZHAO Chongji from the School of Automotive Studies won the third place. The top four winners of the competition will join the "Top Ten Singers of Tongji" Competition in the near future. Eight singers including SHAO Changfeng from the School of Automotive Studies, WU Yifan from the School of Economics and Management won the title of "Stars of Jiading".
