In the large exhibition hall of the China International Import Expo (CIIE) 2019, no matter where you want to go, which booth you want to visit, a high-tech "guide" developed by Tongji University will take you right there. Having provided positioning and navigation service for CIIE 2018, Tongji University updated its official positioning and navigation system "Guide" for CIIE 2019. It has been providing accurate and reliable digital navigation service for visitors both from home and abroad since the opening of CIIE on November 5th.

The system of "Guide" was designed by LIU Erwu, director of Positioning and Navigation Laboratory of Tongji University and professor of School of Electronics and Information Engineering. Professor LIU Erwu's team had expanded and updated the positioning and navigation system to achieve the goal of making CIIE "better and better", including providing real-life navigation, location sharing and collection, sign-in wall and other functions.

Visitors can click on the "On-Site Navigation" module by using the CIIE app or a mini-program. Zoom in the page on screen with two fingers, users can see thumbnails of each venue on site. Enter "Destination" in the "Search Box" at the top of a mobile phone screen, the screen will immediately show the path to the destination. Erect your mobile phone, and you will find that the real environment you are in is integrated into the mobile phone screen, an integration of virtual reality and the positioning and navigation technology. Just look at the screen of your mobile phone, you can both enjoy the exhibition and get to your destination in no time.
