On the afternoon of September 21, the launching ceremony of 2019“Chengdu Drifter”Talent Gathering was held at Tongji University, marking the official opening of 2019“Chengdu Drifter”Talent Gathering at big cities, leading universities, institutes and enterprises in China.

The new talent recruitment plan for Longquan District, Chengdu, was also launched on the spot.

The series of activities lasted for two days, covering Tongji University and other local colleges and universities in Shanghai. The diverse activities not only showed the unique charm of Tianfu (Chengdu) culture, but also established the image of Chengdu's love and cherish for talents, and expressed their unprecedented determination of attracting talents. A promotion meeting and an enterprise recruitment meeting were held after the launching ceremony.

Eight universities and ten companies provided a total of 380 positions. In addition, 148 enterprises and institutes from Chengdu including Sichuan Development Holding Co. Ltd., LUZHOULAOJIAO Group Co. Ltd. and New Hope Dairy Co. Ltd. participated in the recruitment, providing more than 2,000 jobs in education, medical, finance, communications, Internet, biotechnology, aerospace and construction, and attracting more than 4,000 college students.
