Students at Tongji Hospital win Second Prize in the First National Skills Competition of General Practice Residents

The First National Skills Competition of General Practice Residents was held in Beijing International Convention Center on April 17, where Tongji Hospital affiliated to Tongji University won the Second Prize. The competition organized jointly by Chinese Medical Doctor Association (CMDA) and CDMA of General Medicine was hosted by the Office of General Practice and Continuing Education of CMDA. DU Xueping, president of CMDA of General Medicine, announced the competition results at the closing ceremony. A total of one First Prize, two Second Prizes, three Third Prizes and four Recognition Awards were awarded in the competition which attracted 31 teams from different provinces of China.

The competition included wound closure, case analysis, electrocardiogram and imaging diagnosis. Tongji Students of General Medicine HUANG Bingbing of the Year 2016, XING Jun of the Year 2017 and LI Yuhang of the Year 2018 participated in the competition and won a Second Prize in the competition placing the Second in the preliminary round and the Second in the final round.
