On November 18th, Sing for Your Youth -- Singing Show for College StudentsofShanghaiwas held at Chia Tai Gymnasiumof Fudan University, Shanghai. The show, jointly hosted by Fudan University and Shanghai Radio and Television Station, was organized by the Publicity Department of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee and CPC Shanghai Working Committee on Education and Health and Shanghai Municipal Education Commissionunder the guidance of the Literature and Art Bureau of Publicity Department of the CPC and the Moral Education Department of Ministry of Education. A number of original songs promotedby the songwriting activity of FulfillingYour Mission by Singing Youth Melody were staged on the show which aimed at cultivating college students through aesthetics education, enrich their cultural life on campus and strengthenthe ideological work in universities. Present at the show were leaders from Publicity Department of the CPC, Ministry of Education, Shanghai Municipality and Tongji University in addition to a large number of students.

Tongji students jointly organized by the university Publicity Department of the CPC, Tongji University Communist Youth League Committee and Art Center staged eye-catching performancesin the show. Their refreshing arrangement, creativeacting and well-pacedorganization won high appraisal from the audience. "Let’s listen to the voice of the future in 2035" was beautifully interpreted byJiasuerAlifu, CHEN Changxu, ZHANG Wei and PU Yuxin from the University Student Chorus in the company of 28 members from the University Student Dance Group for the opening of the first chapter of the event, i.e. Voice of the Future,an original campus song recommended by Publicity Department of the CPC. Against the colorful stage lighting, students displayed wonderful original dances and songs, demonstrating the youthful vigor and artistic charm of Tongji people.
