A delegation from Québec next generation vehicles trade mission headed by Ms. Barbara Béliveau, director of the International Office of the Ministry of Economy, Science and Innovation (MESI) of Québec paid a visit to Tongji University on the afternoon of September 27th. They met and communicated with teachers from the School of Automotive Studies and the College of Electronic and Information Engineering on Jiading Campus.
Barbara Béliveau expressed her appreciation for the hospitality of Tongji University. The delegation made up of universities, research institutes, companies that do inspection and testing for R&D of vehicles and manufacturers of parts of vehicles, wished to explore the possibilities of cooperation by building connections with experts in the field of intelligent connected vehicles. The School of Automotive Studies gave the visitors a briefing about the school and its research directions, and expressed their willingness to work with Québec. People from the School of Automotive Studies and the College of Electronic and Information Engineering had discussions with the delegation about the policies, information and technology of the innovation of next generation vehicles.
