The 16th Student Formula Japan came to an end on September 9^th, TJU Racing Team and DIAN_Racing team of Tongji University both ranked top three in ICV (internal combustion engine vehicle) class and EV (electric vehicle) class respectively, the best results in the history of both teams and No. 1 among Chinese universities.

It has been a decade since TJU Racing Team first registered for the competition in 2009. In this year’s SFJ, the team finished third in the total of ICV and EV, and fourth of ICV, setting a new Chinese record in SFJ. The team also won JAMA Chairman Awards and three second awards in CAE（Computer Aided Engineering）,Acceleration and Endurance, and achieved a breakthrough in accuracy in the Cost Report.

DIAN_Racing team also performed outstandingly. During the five days of competition from September 4^th to 8^th, the entire team managed to overcome the extreme difficulties of a strong typhoon and finished first in Good Accumulator Container Design, second in Best Electrical System and third in Presentation and Efficiency. It was worth mentioning that it was the first time the team reached the Design Final, and finished second among EV class with its best total score in history.
