A celebration to mark the fifteenth anniversary of the Business Incubator of Tongji University Science on the theme of Brands Leading Further Development was held on the afternoon of October 12. Over two hundred people from Yangpu District, Shanghai government and Tongji University attended the event.

WU Zhiqiang, Vice President of Tongji University, delivered a congratulatory speech on behalf of the university. He fully affirmed the BITUSP’s achievements in incubation service during the past 15 years and showed his sincere gratitude to the service team for their hard work. He also hoped that the BITUSP would assist the students with their innovation and entrepreneurship activities, support teachers in their research, and serve the national and local development in the implementation of the Double First-Class Initiative.

BITUSP has witnessed and promoted the leap of “Tongji Knowledge Economy Circle Rim” from 5 billion yuan to 37 billion yuan after fifteen years of development. According to an anonymous person from Tongji Innovation & Entrepreneurship Holdings Limited, these achievements were not possible without support of the university. The young Tongji entrepreneurs felt obliged to feed the incubator programs in return, and provide increasingly strong support for teaching and research of Tongji University.
