The World Innovation and Entrepreneurship Expo (WIEE) 2018 Shanghai was declared open on the Jiading Campus, Tongji University, on the morning of May 19th. WIEE 2018 Shanghai，initiated by Tongji University under the framework of Pujiang Innovation Forum, was jointly organized by Tongji and Shanghai Jiading District Government, with the guidance and support from the Ministry of Science and Technology and Shanghai Municipal Government. A total of 111 cities, enterprises, universities and organizations from all over the world showcased their latest achievements in innovation, entrepreneurship, start-up business and creative design on the theme of technological innovation and cultural creativity at their container-style pavilions. Seminars and lectures were presented by a number of leading figures from political and academic circles as well as from the industry. All this turned the university campus into a prototype of expositions for future urban innovation and a happy land to inspire people for innovation.
