A Memorandum of Understanding on the establishment of the Research Institute of Agriculture and Food Science (RIAFS) was signed among the Institute of New Rural Development of Tongji University, Deltares, EuSino Foundation, Chongming Scientific and Technological Innovation Center for Eco-Agriculture in Shanghai, on Apr. 9th during the Dutch Prime Minister`s visit to China in the company of the Economic Mission of Netherlands. Minister Sigrid Kaag of the Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation, Netherlands and Mr. XU Jianping, Vice Party Secretary of Tongji University, unveiled the plate of the Research Institute of Agriculture and Food Science.
