Tongji Students Receive Heatcraft Awards

The results of the Heatcraft Awards this year were announced on March 28th. DU Bowen, a postgraduate, and ZHANG Qinling, an undergraduate, both majoring HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Condition) at the School of Mechanical Engineering of Tongji University, had won this honor with their outstanding research and academic performances. The Heatcraft Awards were presented to 16 winners this year, including 4 postgraduates, 11 undergraduates, and 1 professor.

The Heatcraft Awards was set in memory of the late professor, XIA Anshi, founder of Chinese Refrigeration Equipment and Cryogenic Technology. It was established by the XIA Anshi Education Foundation, and funded by Heatcraft Worldwide Refrigeration–Asia Co., Ltd., a corporation affiliated with Lennox International, Inc. This award aims at acknowledging outstanding students majoring in HVAC at top universities in China, as well as professors who made remarkable achievements in scientific research. This honor, awarded once a year, remains one of the most top-notch academic awards in HVAC in China. This is the 22ndyear of its issuing.
