2018 Tongji University Voluntary Blood-Donation Activity was held in the basement of the Sino- France Center on the Siping Campus, Mar. 19^th- 21^st.

Mr. XU Jianping, Deputy Party Secretary of Tongji University, attended the Activity to direct the donors and express his condolences. XU stated that voluntary blood donation was a significant embodiment of humanitarianism. With the University Party Committee`s great attention and support, Tongji has been devoting itself to such kind of activities for years so that voluntary blood donation has become an integral and important part in the spiritual and cultural progress of our University. The University Hospital and Tongji Red Cross were both responsible for the logistics and health security work for the activity. Additionally, 50 volunteers from the Red Cross took part in the blood donation. Students from the Colleges of Civil Engineering, Electronics and Information Engineering, and many other schools at Tongji University donated their blood voluntarily. These young donors expressed their hope they would help people in need of blood, and they would promote a positive university ethos.
