Tongji SEM Ranked Top 8 Among Business Schools in the Asia-Pacific Region

December 08, 2017

Financial Times released its latest Top 20 Business School Ranking in Asia-Pacific Region on Dec. 4th, and the School of Economics and Management (SEM), Tongji University, ranked eighth on the list as well as one of the top three in mainland China.

Financial Times, based in Britain and taking the quality of the curriculum for graduates in each business school as the criterion, reviews their latest rankings published in 2017 of the following graduate programs: MBA, Executive MBA (EMBA), Masters in Management (MiM), and senior executive coaching, each counting for 25% in the final assessment.

Since it was included in the annual ranking issued by Financial Times in 2014, SEM`s MiM program has witnessed itself climbing quickly on the list. Continuously, it has been ranked among the top 50 for the past two years, and been in the second place in mainland China. Other equally exciting news is that Tongji-Mannheim EMBA program, included in the assessment this year for the first time, ranked 46th with the only dual-degree EMBA program based on Sino-German cooperation in this global ranking. Three key features of the program (students` career development, faculty internationalization, and curriculum internationalization) are in world`s top 10.
