On November 14th, the opening ceremony of the 8th China-Italy Science, Technology and Innovation Week was held in Beijing. Mr. WAN Gang, Vice-chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) National Committee and Minister of Science and Technology of People’s Republic of China, Valeria FEDELI, Minister of Education, University and Research of the Republic of Italy, along with other leaders and guests, and representatives from universities, research institutes and business sectors from all over the country, attended the event. Mr. Fang Shouen, Party Secretary of Tongji University, was invited to attend the ceremony.
