Carton-made drums, makeshift instruments, a flute, and an occasional tuneless cello, which made unbelievably fantastic musical accompaniments and a lyrical melody, altogether created a moving musical space under the cooperation between players both on and off stage. Founded in 2011, Hand Werk is a Cologne chamber music band dedicated to the sustainable development and the values of the music world. The band not only plays classic modern music, but also specializes on the exploration of experimental music by employing non-musical instruments such as tables, balloons and voices.
