On the afternoon of June 23, a variety show staged by the second class of Tongji College for Older People was held at the 129 Auditorium. About 400 students on 17 programs from Tongji Village campus, Huxi campus and Zhengli Road campus performed 20 brilliant shows of diverse forms.
The vocal music class performed the chorus of "in the Arms of Motherland," "Fly, the Pigeon," "the Wild Goose," and a male solo of "Moonlit Night." The fashion class staged two shows: "Jiangnan Beauty" and "Cheongsam Beauty." The traditional Chinese musical instrument class played Erhu tunes of "Eager," "Butterfly Lovers" and "Southern China Song," along with Hulusi pieces of "Little Bride Flowers" and "Swan Lake Love Song." The taichi class and aerobic class showed their sportsmanship through their exercises.
The lively performances were warmly welcomed by the audience and ended with an active atmosphere.
