On the afternoon of May 14th, a lecture called “Unity of Knowledge and Action, Stand together through Storm and Stress - Poetry and Life” was given by Li Bo at the lecture hall of Jiren Building, Jiading campus. Li Bo, Ph.D. in Chinese Classical Literature and Culture, the speaker of Lecture Room and the guest of Chinese Poetry Congress, was invited to appreciate poetry for gaining a better understanding and pursuing the essence of life. He said that the seeming uselessness of poetry extends its wings to help one harmonize well with oneself, with others, and with nature and heaven and earth. In the course of this harmonization, we can discover the true meaning of life.
