The Fifth Italian Corporate Day prompted by the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce and hosted by the Sino-Italian Campus of Tongji University was held at Zonghe Building, Siping Road Campus on the afternoon of December 9 th, 2016. A job fair was organized as one of a series of activities for the tenth anniversary of Sino-Italian Campus of Tongji University, which gained strong support from the Career Center of the university.

Employers including top 500 foreign companies from different fields communicated face to face with student applicants at the job fair. Job vacancies were provided by influential Italian companies from various fields including Pirelli, Marelli (Auto Parts), Comau (Industrial Automation), Guzigny, Natuzzi (Home Furnishing) and Florence Town (Luxury).

More than 200 applicants had established some understanding of more than 20 Italian companies. Students from Fudan University, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Shanghai International Studies University and Shanghai Polytechnic University attended the Day in addition to Chinese and Italian undergraduate dual-degree students from Tongji and Polytechnic University of Milan, Polytechnic University of Bologna and other Italian universities. Job fairs are organized twice a year, which has become an ideal platform both for Italian companies in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai and for students and job seekers.
