On December 11th, 2016, an award ceremony of the 13th National Mathematical Contest in Modeling of Graduate Students was held in Chongqing University. On the competition, Tongji won three first prizes, 122 second prizes and 117 third prizes, and its number of award-winning teams hitting a record high. Tongji University also won the Excellent Organization Award, since the number of the first, second and third prizes of Tongji all ranked first among colleges and universities in China according to the organizing committee.
