On November 6, 2016, the opening ceremony of the 10th Social Science Forum forUndergraduates in Shanghai was held on Fengxian Campus, East China University of Science and Technology.

The Social Science Forum forUndergraduates in Shanghai, anacademic forum for students majoring insocial sciences, was initiated by undergraduate studentsfrom colleges and universitiesin Shanghai.It has gained a good reputation in academiaover the years and has become an important platform for academic research capacity building for undergraduate students.

ZHOUManhong from School of Politics and International Relations, Tongji University was qualified to enter the final round of oral defenceas the first place winner in the first round in her group. By the end of the final round, she won the first prize of the 10th Social Science Forum. CHENGShang, YUTiantian,ZHANG Chun and HUJunjiewon an Excellence Award for their team.
