The song of Graduation was echoing again on Tongji campus. On the morning of July 5th, 2016 graduation ceremony of Tongji University was held in the Assembly Hall on Siping Campus for the graduating students who would go to different corners of China. Around 9000 undergraduate and graduate students set sail for their future career very soon.

At 9:00 a.m., the graduation ceremony began after the solemn national anthem was played. President PEI Gang extended, on behalf of teachers and students of Tongji, his congratulations to the Class of 2016 who have successfully completed their courses. He expressed his wish for them to bear more social responsibilities the way people of Tongji do by keeping in mind the benefits of other people, public affairs and the whole world. Since there were thousands of ways to pursue excellence, they were encouraged to dream big for their careers, and engrave their wisdom and contributions in every corner of the world to realize Tongji’s slogan of “reaching out to help the general public”!

Representatives of PhD, master’s and bachelor’s degree students in their graduation robes received their degree certificates from the university leaders.
