On May 9th, activities to mark the Sri Lankan Day were organized by the Sri Lankan embassy and Tongji University at Tongji University. JIANG Bo, Vice President of Tongji University, received Mr. Karunasena Kodithuwakku, the newly appointed Sri Lanka’s Ambassador to China and Mr. Lakshitha Rathnayaka, Sri Lanka’s Consul General in Shanghai at Yifu Building. They talked about Sino-Sri Lankan friendship and exchanged ideas on academic research, international student exchange and mutual cooperation. Mr. Kodithuwakku thanked Tongji University for its great contributions in cultivating Sri Lankan students in recent years, and expressed his wish for further bilateral cooperation in the future.
