A thank-you letter autographed by German President Joachim Gauck arrived at Tongji University weeks ago.

President Gauck expressed his gratitude to teachers and students of Tongji for their warm welcome to his visit to Tongji University on March 23rd. In the letter, he said, “Tongji University is a treasure in the communication between Germany and China”, which was worthy of continued tender care from both sides.
