Shell Eco-marathon Asia 2016 eventually drew to a close in Philippines. ZEAL ECO-POWER PROTO from Tongji University sent two teams for the competition: a Prototype team and an Urban Concept team. The former won second place in the Diesel Engine category with its best attempt at 798km/l, a new record for the team: 363km/l in 2012 and 616km/l in 2014. The Urban Concept team made its debut at the competition after its four years of endless tests and retests. It successfully passed the car inspection, ready for roaring on the track.
