On the afternoon of March 8^th, Job Fast Track -- the first campus recruitment for 2016 organized by Tongji Career Center was held at Tongde Building, Tongji University (Jiading campus) with support from both the university and organizations concerned.

Tongji University planned to organize five recruitment sessions in March and April to further increase employment rate, improve employment quality and meet employers’ needs. About a hundred employers came to the campus for recruitment, including Shanghai Road and Bridge Infrastructure Installation Engineering Company, Shanghai Mitsubishi Elevator Co. LTD, Hyundai Motor Group (China) LTD and Caohejing Hi-tech Park. While most of them are based in Shanghai, some are from Beijing, Ningbo and other cities. Their business covered a wide range from machinery, automobile, transportation, materials, software and education.

The recruitment attracted more than 1,000 students mostly from different majors of Tongji University. While the majority of students were graduates of 2016, some junior students joined the event to get well-informed for better opportunities for their future. Initial CV screening, consultation and written tests were organized on the spot. The two-hour event came to an end smoothly and successfully, which marked a good beginning for campus recruitment for 2016.
