The Light Festival which is the annual exhibition of architectural lighting design has become a brand activity of the College of Architecture and Urban Planning (CAUP) of Tongji University. The course work exhibition ‘Let's be your light’ includes works of light and shadow composition from students of Year 2013. It was held in the Building B of CAUP in the evening of May 23th. The theme of the exhibition was inspired by Webber’s masterpiece "Phantom of the Opera." The students turned light into the dancers in the musical by creating interactions among people, light and music. They change common materials into innovative designs by giving full play to their imagination and creativity. They presented a unique visual feast to everyone.
