On May 4th, “Convergence Innovation,” the 2015 University Students' Science and Technology Innovation Exhibition of Tongji University was held on the first floor of comprehensive building, Siping Road Campus.

On the scene, nearly one hundred students from three high schools affiliated with Tongji University which included: the First High School, the Second High School and Qiyi High School were provided with an intriguing sight as they entered the exhibition site. They were attracted by amazing displays such as Fuel-efficient cars and a concrete canoe. They surrounded their college brothers and sisters and kept them busy answering questions. The wonderful world of science immediately dissolved any inhibitions between the college students and their high school counterparts, resulting in warm and friendly discussions. In the future, the school committee will share more of the extracurricular scientific and technological achievements of outstanding students, thus sharing the charm of science--hand in hand.

Since 2003, Tongji University has been holding both the College Students’ Science and Technology Festival and the May Science and Technology Exhibition every year. With scientific and technological practice, another batch of students from Tongji University lit the light of wisdom and stimulate innovation and inspiration. This year, the school committee held the 2015 University students' Science and Technology Innovation Exhibition with the theme of “Convergence innovation,” which aims to steer Tongji University students to show their talents, enlighten their wisdom, inspire their innovation and fly their dreams. This exhibition includes the most professional features of students’ science and technology achievements. The exhibition is divided into six exhibition areas, which included: the "Cup of excellence" outstanding projects show, Smart City, Green Energy, Frontier Science and Technology, Experience in Science Popularization, and Entrepreneurial Carnival. In such ways as commentary and interactive experience, people can gain a much deeper understanding of students ' latest achievements in innovation at Tongji University. At the same time, with the help of official Wechat “Tongji Youth,” the school committee established an “online tech show,” for the purpose of building a comprehensive audio-visual feast of the technological achievements of Tongji University, which provided both online and offline interactions.
