Laborers are always respectable. Let’s salute the laborers around us on May1, the International Labor Day and also on every other day!

In the noble profession, the erudite, kind and dedicated faculty members at Tongji guide students to pursue their dreams and overcome their difficulties in life.


Some students feel that it’s difficult to find a book in the maze-like library. However, the librarians contribute all their time, just to help the students.


Before the sun rises, the canteen staff has already prepared dishes for faculty and students, and custodians have completed their work. They are tired, but smiling.


Everyone loves the blooming oriental cherry blossoms. When the blossoms wither, it is the sanitation workers who clean the fallen and scattered petals and leaves.



Nowadays, every member of society is working hard and enjoying the fruits of the labor of others. The convenience and comfort of our life and study comes from the hard work of countless laborers; thus, we will pass it on through the work of our own hands.
