In one hundred years of endless music, the College of Civil Engineering has continuously transported tens of thousands of young people to the main battlefield of construction in the motherland; in a century of good governance, it has become a banner of Tongji University’s educational achievement and a business card of quality and competence.
On the Chinese land where thousands of mansions stand, where green waves flow, where rainbows cross the sky, and where subways lie in the ground forming a dense spider web, the College of Civil Engineering bears a deep imprint everywhere that its skilled graduates work. Moreover, it has built the world's largest dome building, the first cross-sea bridge, the first highway, the first high-speed railway and countless other "firsts”. It also has strong scientific and technological supports.
