Stanford 2014-2015 ME310 kickoff event was held during Oct. 23-28. 6 students from SFC mission D course are involved in two international projects and attended the kickoff event.

Cooperated with SUGAR Network, Stanford University arranged intensive workshops, lectures by companies and institutes like IBM, Airbus, FBI related to design thinking methodology, as well as visit to different innovative companies and research institutes such as Autodesk, SRI International. It provides international teams of different projects great opportunity to experience more about design thinking methodology, also to communicate with each other.

Kickoff event started with paper bike race. UBS and EMN from SFC just built up their team on October, but they managed to make the paper bikes and attended the race successfully within limited time. Enjoying teamwork and hands-on learning, they also needed to finish paper bike documentation. The students are from College of Design and Innovation, College of Architecture and Urban Planning, College of Civil Engineering, College of Automotive Studies, Sino-German School and School of Ocean and Earth Science.

On November 18, students will give a seminar discussing about the learning experience at 6:30 in SFC, come to join us!
