On September 23^rd, Tongji University held 2014 Art Festival Opening Ceremony also known as Neue Philharmonie Muenchen Symphony Concert in the Hall on Siping campus.

2014 Art Festival opening ceremony invited Neue Philharmonie Muenchen to give performance in Tongji University which is consisted of young musicians from 17 years old to 30. Founded in 2005, this symphony orchestra has developed as one of the most excellent orchestras in Germany for its power of youth and exquisite art performance. They are popular with symphony lovers and audience around the world.

With the music going on, 2014 Tongji University Art Festival is officially opened. This year the festival will continue to adhere to the concept of “Chinese Dream, Tongji Love”, advocating social core value, building a healty and civilized campus culture, passing on university idea, endeavoring to be a sustainability-oriented first-class university in the world.
