On September 15, SFC Sixth Advisory Board Meeting was held in SFC. President Pei Gang, Vice President Jiang Bo, Wu Jiang, Wu Zhiqiang of Tongji University, Provost Ilkka Niemelä, Vice President Martti Raevaara, Hannu Seristö, Dr. Mari-Anna Suurmunne, Head of International Relations, Ms. Leena Plym-Rissanen, Manager of International Relations of Aalto University were present.

During the Sixth Advisory Board Meeting, SFC reported the achivements of last academic year. Prof. Lou Yongqi introduced the progress of Sino-Finnish Centre and Tongji Lounge that would be built in Aalto University. Tongji Lounge will be another platform promoting the cooperation between Tongji University and Aalto University, attracting more and more projects and investment from industry. Board members approved SFC’s achivements, especially Tongji Innovation and Venture Program. Both sides agreed to expand the scale of faculty and student exchange between two universities, involve more schools of each university into cooperation and expand the possibilities of Chinese-Foreign cooperation in running schools. Tongji and Aalto will continue promoting the cooperation on sustainable campus development and innovation ecosystem of global entrepreneurship based on the close relationship between Shanghai and Espoo.
