Teaching has been considered as a glorious profession under the sun for it nature of imparting knowledge and cultivating talents. Education is embedded with the future of the country and brings hope for a better life to every family. Students came to Tongji with dreams for their life year after year, and teachers ignited the sparkles in their minds with their wisdom and turned them into talents of all walks of life. Therefore, teachers have every reason to feel happy for the career they have embarked on.

Teaching is also a profession that calls for sacrifice and devotion like burning candles and weaving worms. Teachers devote themselves to teaching year in and year out until their hair grows grey and voice hoarse. They have brought confidence and smiles to students on campus and strength and hope to graduates in all parts of the world. Teachers also play exemplary roles in spreading the core values and guiding the youth in their growth. Therefore, teachers deserve to be proud of the career they are committed to.

On this special Teachers’ Day, let us say to our teachers from the bottom of our heart: thank you very much indeed for your great contributions!
