Tongji-UNSW Dual Awards in Architecture Launch & Introduction Event was held on March 29th at the Bell Hall Auditorium of CAUP. Distinguished guests, Alec Tzannes, Dean of Faculty of Built Environment, UNSW, Oya Demirbilek, Associate Dean, Associate Professor of Faculty of Built Environment, UNSW, Laurie Pearcey, Director of China Strategy & Development, UNSW, Xing Ruan, Director of School of Architecture, UNSW, Gonzalo Ortiz, General Consul of Spain in Shanghai, Ken Maher, Chairman of the Australian Hassel International Design Consulting, Peter Duncan, Asia executive director of Hassel, and Fu Guohua, General Manager of KFS attended this Event. Ye Weimin, Deputy Director of Academic Affairs Office of Tongji University, Cai Yongjie, vice dean of Graduate Studies Office, Liang Yijun, deputy director of the Foreign Affairs Office, Zhang Lun, Director of International Students Office, Li Zhenyu, Dean of CAUP also attended the launching ceremony.

Li Xiangning, Assistant Dean of CAUP, Tongji is the moderator of whole launch event. Deputy director Ye Weimin represented Tongji University to give a welcome speech. Dean Li Zhenyu made a welcome speech. Dean Alec Tzannes, and Director Laurie Pearcey addressed briefly by presenting the history and present situation of UNSW. Subsequently, director Ruan Xing and deputy director Zhang Jianlong jointly made an introduction about the recruitment plan, teaching plan, and curriculum, etc.

After the event, the group took a short tour of the Innovative Cooperation Base and Labs of CAUP. Besides, dean Li guided the guests to visit Tongji Architectural Design and Research Institute and Shanghai Tongji Urban Planning & Design Institute early in the morning.
