On March 6, the fourth Opening Ceremony and the Annual Board Meeting of Tongji-Mannheim Double Degrees EMBA were successfully taken place at Tongji campus. Nearly 100 participants, alumni and important guests from the governor, economic sectors and medium of China and Germany attended the events.

In the Opening Prof. Dr. Huo Jia-Zhen, Dean of the Scool of Economics and Management, Tongji University expressed the School thanks and welcome to all the Guests and new participants to the Tongji-Mannheim EMBA; Prof. Dr. Wuestemann Jens, Dean of Mannheim Business School, and Mr. Marc Wucherer, Vice President of Asia Siemens, respectively delivered warm speeches of the congratulation to the opening of the program. Then Prof. Guan Yun-Xiang spoke on behalf of the faculty, followed by Mr. Zhou Zhan-Rong as the alumni representative. The ceremony was hosted by Ms. Elke Simon-Keller, Vice President of SAP Labs China, the EMBA alumni.
Prof. Lei Xing-Hui, Dean of Tongji Graduate School and Prof. Huo Jia-Zhen and Prof. Wang Guang-Bin, Dean and Vice Dean of Tongji SEM, Prof. Wuestemann, Dean of the Mannheim Business School took part in the 2014 Board Meeting of Tongji-Mannheim EMBA. In the Meeting the members of the program Board, which consists of German Embassy, Siemens, Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation, Shanghai Pudong Development Bank, SAP, Heraeus, FUCHS, Bosch, Voith, BASF and Continental Automotive, affirmed great achievements in 2013, and discussed the program 2014 plan.
To celebrate the new intake of Tongji-mannheim EMBA 2014, all participants, alumni from BASF, Siemens, SAP, Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation, Bosch, Shanghai Pudong Development Bank, FUCHS, Heraeus, Voith, Volkswagen, Intel, Infosys, Apple, Cisco, Ingersoll Rand, Haier, KPMG, EATON, Continental Automotive, Lufthansa and China Railway Engineering Corporation had a joyous gathering with their family in Tongji University. Some of them flew from Europe to Shanghai to witness the new international participants who comes from different part of the world, with different cultural backgrounds.
