First Student Management Meeting of Tongji on Tracks 2014 Held

On the afternoon of Mar.17, first student management meeting of Tongji on Tracks 2014 was held in Sino-Finnish Centre.

This student management team is composed of 8 students from different colleges: Lou Chuyang, senior student of College of Civil Engineering, Zhang Yisha, senior student of College of Architecture and Urban Planning, Kuang Xiang and Zhang Qianxin, 2 junior students of College of Design and Innovation, Zhang Haohai, junior student of School of Ocean and Earth Science, Dong Jiarong, sophomore student of Chemistry Department, Ma Shuai and Wang Jiaonan, 2 master students of School of Humanities. Their background also coincides the interdisciplinary and intercultural feature of Sino-Finnish Centre. We hope that the communication within students of different backgrounds would promote inspiration.

Three industry insiders attended the meeting as tutors of Tongji on Tracks 2014. JC, Originator of ESGUARD, Brand Director Officer, Gao Jian,ex-Ogilvy Creation Director, COO of RCP Media, Guo Yong, founder of Kwok, crossover will work with students to discuss about the programm and help students grow up into professional brand planners.

In the past three years, Tongji on Tracks has been to Beijing-Moscow-Helsinki(2011), Shanghai-Qingdao-Seoul(2012), Beijing-Moscow-St. Petersburg-Helsinki-Lubeck-Darmstadt(2013). This year, we will head for Australia( Shanghai-Sydney-Queensland-Melbourne)! The student management team will take over all the subprojects of Tongji on Tracks 2014, and they will make Tongji on Tracks as an innovative brand together with the tutors. JC recommended that being in a company was quite different from being at campus, everyone had to spare no effort to meet the deadline. Guo Yong said that the key point of Tongji on Tracks was that you could learn anything at any time, tutors and students had been learning from each other at the very beginning.

Tongji on Tracks 2014 will start recruitment in April, and we will start our journey from September 27 to October 13. Come to join us!
