Sino-Finnish Innovation And Entrepreneur Minor Program Panel Meeting Held

Managing Vice-President of Tongji University, Chen Yiyi chaired the panel meeting, discussing about the arranging of Sino-Finnish Innovation and Entrepreneur Minor Program recently. Representatives of Academic Affaires Division, Graduate School, School Youth League Committee, School of Business and Management, School of Electronics and Information, School of Surveying, Mapping and Geoinformation, Medical School, UNEP-Tongji Institute of Environment for Sustainable Development, School of Design and Innovation and Sino-Finnish Centre attended the meeting.

Sino-Finnish Centre introduced the background and draft of the Minor Program. This program will play an important role in the consolidation of cooperation between Aalto University and Tongji University. Sino-Finnish Centre will work with School of Design and Innovation for coordination, cooperate with Aalto Ventures Program to build this Minor Program featured with internationality, interdisciplinary and grade cross.

Participants discussed on this issue. President Chen approved this program firstly, regarded that the sustainability; interdisciplinary and internationality of this program were worth learning; besides, the program setting improved the flexibility of operation. He also came up with suggestions about naming and operation of this program. Vice Deputy Secretary of School Youth League Committee said expressed the willingness to cooperate. Deputy Director of Academic Affairs Division, Wang Xiaoguo expressed support for the program, so did Associate Dean of Graduate School, Cai Yongjie. Other participants of other schools also expressed their willingness to cooperate.

Sino-Finnish Centre will adjust and improve the draft to apply to Tongji University and Aalto University for project establishment.
