Shanghai experienced its biggest rainfall in 52 years between Monday night and noon yesterday.Rain water collected into small lake at the entrance both on Siping and Chifeng road. Many places of the campus were flooded in different levels. Teachers and Students were all surprised to see the scene. Because of the puddles from the torrential rain, it was hard for them to go to the classrooms. The school arranged electric vehicles for transporting, but the numbers of the vehicles were much less limited for the need of the teachers and students. In order not to delay the class, many people took off their shoes and socks and walked in the water in bare feet.

Students in the classrooms listened to their teachers as usual and were not affected by the storm outside. They joked with the one who went to the class on time “Xueba” which means super scholar. The students’ learning attitudes were commendable.
