More than 150 undergraduate freshmen, 71 postgraduate students and 12 Doctoral candidates from nearly all over the country arrived on Tongji campus in these days.

Dean of School of Foreign Languages (SFL) Prof. Ma Qiuwu, Deputy Deans Li Yang and Song Ying made their way around the school to welcome students and reassure parents.

In front of the SFL Freshman sign-in spot, new students followed the registration instructions and waited in queues patiently. All new students were warmly greeted by our faculty, some of them already seek advices on how best to adjust to the Tongji experience from our fellow students, teachers and administrators.

Thanks to the careful planning and work of staff and administrators, freshman registration day was again a success. Later, the full scheduled orientation week is carried on with thought and detail so that most of the questions freshmen have will be answered by the time.

SFL hopes that all new students enjoy their new campus life and have a prospective academic year!
