Professor Shigenori Wakabayashi, Vice President of Chuo University, Japan visited School of Foreign Languages (SFL) on June 25th 2013. He was warmly received by Professor Ma Qiuwu, Dean of SFL, Associate Prof Li Yuling, The chair of Japanese Department and Dr. Chen Yili, Assistant to the Dean.
In this visit, Professor Shigenori Wakabayashi intended to enhance the academic cooperation and expand the scale of international exchange in the filed of Language Education between Chuo and Tongji. It is expected that, thanks to this visit, further collaborative partnerships will be founded and developed between two universities.

It has partnership agreements with 129 colleges, universities and education organizations in 29 countries worldwide and is actively exchanging students with 91 institutions in 24 countries.
