Cooperation Agreement Signed between School of Business, Queen’s University, Canada and Tongji SEM

Cooperation agreement was just signed between School of Business, Queen’s University, Canada and Tongji SEM. From fall, 2013, the two schools will initiate students exchange program on undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Credits will be transferred and tuitions be waived under this exchange program.

In February 2012, a MOU was signed between Tongji University and Queen’s University. The two business schools continued their dialogues actively for over one year and reached the final agreement, which helps further deepen the cooperation between the two universities.

Queen's University is one of the oldest universities in Canada. Founded on 16 October 1841, the university predated the founding of Canada by 26 years. In 1912, Queen's secularized and changed to its present legal name. Queen’s is regarded as the most suitable university for undergraduates. Together with University of Toronto andMcGillUniversity, the three are called by the public as The Ivy League in Canada. School of Business, Queen’s University is very strong in Economics, Accounting, Finance, which are ranked among the 51st to 100th by QS World University Ranking. School of Business is ranked among top five in Canada and got the three authoritative accreditations by AACSB (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), AMBA (Accredited MBA) and EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System). Its MBA program is continuously ranked top by Canadian media and was ranked the 2nd in the world outside the United States by Business Week.
