From May 23 to 24, Prof. WU Jiang, President of Global Universities Partnership on Environment and Sustainability (GUPES) and Vice President of Tongji University, attended the international conference on “Science and Education for Sustainable Development” held by Issyk-kul State University of Kyrgyzstan. At the opening ceremony, Prof. WU Jiang gave the welcome remarks and made a keynote speech on “Towards a Sustainability-Oriented University—Tongji Practice.”

Representatives from governments and higher education institutes of Kazakhstan, Poland, Russian, Tajikistan, Denmark, and Kyrgyzstan attended the conference.
