On the afternoon of March 1st 2013, SEM’s “Lunch with Dean” was held on Tongji Jiading Campus. The event was organized by SEM’s Alumni Affairs Office and Student Affairs Office. Prof. HUO Jiazhen, Dean of SEM, Prof. RUAN Qingsong, Deputy Dean of SEM, Dr. CHEN Xun, Director of Graduate Student Affairs Office, and other SEM faculties, student representatives joined the event together. Lunch with Dean creates a great platform for the school to discuss the study and life with the students.

Dean HUO emphasized SEM’s leading position in Shanghai universities and colleges and encouraged SEM faculties and students to further improve themselves to develop SEM to be a globally renowned business school in its internationalization and research orientation. Dean HUO expressed his sincere wish to SEM students that they could empower their research study and publish more academic papers in the world’s top-notch journals. Management teams of SEM also answered the questions raised by the students concerning overseas exchange programs, scientific researches and study, etc.

“Lunch with Dean” will be held frequently in the future to be an important communication platform between SEM management team, faculties and the students.
