Delegation of University of New South Wales visits Tongji

On November 1st, Vice President Dong Qi had a meeting with Vice Chancellor Jennie Lang, Vice President and other members of the delegation of University of New South Wales, Australia. Both sides agreed that based on the existing solid foundation of cooperation and multiple similarities in educational philosophies and disciplines, cooperation between two universities will therefore be carried on even further with long-term mechanisms. Both reached the consensus that the innovative collaboration model under discussion is feasible, and relevant disciplines will follow up.

Before the formal meeting, the delegation met with representatives of the International Office and the College of Environmental Science and Engineering. Later they met Vice President Wu Jiang at the College of Architecture and Urban Planning together with the Dean and faculty members. Representatives from architecture schools from both sides explored multiple cooperation models.
