On September 15, Vice President Li Xin visited Madrid for "2012 European Solar Decathlon Competition", accompanied by the delegates of College of Civil Engineering, College of Architecture and Urban Planning, College of Telecommunication, College of Transportation, College of Aerospace Engineering, Department of Mathematics and the International Exchange and Cooperation Office.

In the "Ecological Residence of Composite Skin ", Li Xin met the supervisors, the students and workers, who represented Tongji University in the competition, and highly praised the preparation work they have done in the past two years. He also expressed great expectations to them for the construction of the residence. Everyone was encouraged.

Then, arranged by the organization committee, Li Xin saw works from other 18 teams with the guidance of students who explained and analyzed the functions and characteristics of these works.

By the time of release, the competition has gone one thirds through, and the "Ecological Residence of Composite Skin " from our university ranked in the top five.
