On September 15th, Tongji University held welcome activities for Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan exchange students of this fall semester. Students from Feng Chia University, Sun Yat-sen University and Hong Kong Polytechnic University, as well as our volunteers, visited Jiading Campus and Siping Campus, and toured around the Expo Memorial Exhibition and the Global Financial Center to get a glimpse of the World Expo and Shanghai.
At the welcome dinner that evening, Vice President Dong Qi addressed a speech to extend warm welcome. Presented also: Pan huibin, Director of the office for Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan affairs, Prof. Zheng Mingren, Feng Chia University, and representatives from Tongji’s relevant schools.
In addition, this semester Tongji has sent 77 students to 12 universities in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan as exchange students.
