On May 31, President Pei Gang and Vice President Wu Zhiqiang met with a Finnish delegation led by Mr. Jukka Gustafsson, Minister of Education and Science.

Taking Sino-Finnish Centre (SFC) as a successful example of cooperation with Finland, President Pei Gang briefed the role of international innovative platform played by SFC. By showing Tongji on Tracks to the delegation, he also introduced SFC’s role as a platform for student and teacher exchanges as well as innovative interdisciplinary education.

Mr. Jukka Gustafsson believed that by virtue of Finnish advantages in environment and climate researches, the future cooperation with Tongji would be much better.
