On the morning of May 25th, Vice President Dong Qi and Vice President Wu Zhiqiang met Mr. Reinhold Ollig, Head of Division Resources and Sustainability of German Federal Ministry of Education and Research and his delegation successively.

During the meeting with Prof. Dong, both sides discussed about how to integrate vocational education into the frame of Sino-German cooperation program “Clean Water”, in order to train qualified staff for the new water industry, and agreed that Tongji will be in charge of the training issues.

During the meeting with Prof. Wu, both sides exchanged in-depth views about how to use the 2014 World Horticultural Exposition in Qingdao as a platform to promote the idea of water protection and environmental protection to the public by means of performance art.
