On 23rd May, on the occasion of 105th anniversary of Tongji University, co-organized with ParisTech and strongly supported by the Consulate General of France in Shanghai, the French Day of Tongji University with the theme “Living in France for one Day” was held in Siping Road Campus. Vice President Dong Qi, Ms. Amaëlle Mayer, Consul in charge of university coopereation, Ms. Gaëlle LE GOFF, representative of ParisTech in China, Mr. Philippe Caradec of French Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development, Transportation and Housing and Mr. Marc LUCAS, Vice President in charge of studies attended the opening ceremony. During the French day, typical French activities were organized: interfacing with French companies (TOTAL, VEOLIA, THALES, Bureau Veritas and EESYO), tasting French food cooked by local French restaurants, discovering the wine culture and playing traditional French games, etc.

At the same time, at Jiading Campus, the PSA Day was co-organized by PSA and the College of Automotive Studies of Tongji University by the exposition of new models of cars and the graduation ceremony of French class sponsored by PSA since 2008.
